We at the Worcester News have brought in a new policy to warn users who breach our terms and conditions when posting comments on the main news site or the forums.
This yellow/red card system will be fairly self-explanatory to most, but in essence it means that if a user breaches the T&Cs once they will be issued with an official warning (yellow card) and asked not to breach the conditions again. The same applies to those who make what we regard as inappropriate comments, regardless of whether they breach our T&Cs or not.
If they continue to post such comments they will be 'red-carded' and prevented from making any further comments on the site - permanently.

Anyone who is in any doubt about our terms and conditions should familiarise themselves in this thread - http://forum.worcesternews.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=132

Thank you.

Having just had a yellow card for a comment about an Israeli rapist, the least one can expect is not a generalised critique of the comment but specifics of the offending part. Every single word that I used (with the exception of the facetious last two lines) were supported by the evidence given in open court. If we are now getting to a state were questionable behaviour on the part of people is not to be commented on, and I will give you what amounts to "questionable behaviour" in chapter and verse, then it seems we are playing games. The other requirement of course is to acknowledge this card, perhaps you could explain "how", short of sending you an email.

You could send an email, yes. You could also telephone, write or pop into reception. You could also, as you have done here, post a message in the forums.
I'll consider the yellow card acknowledged and I have reinstated your account. I'll answer your other points in the morning. Would you prefer it if I emailed my reply or made it public here?
